CALL OF DUTY BROWSER.

Want to play Call of Duty in a browser without downloading anything? The official retail COD games are not free browser releases. Below is a playable, separate Zombies-style fan game, plus a clear guide to what happened to the BO1 browser projects.

THIS EMBED IS NZ:P. It is a separate classic Zombies remake — not the BO1 ten-map port. Choose Solo to begin. NZ:P Team assets: CC BY-SA 4.0.

NOT OFFICIAL CALL OF DUTY. The player loads Nazi Zombies: Portable (NZ:P), an independent Quake-based project. It is not Black Ops, does not contain the complete retail COD campaign or multiplayer, and is not the separate BO1 ten-map port.

Free browser Zombies-style game

NZ:P is a community-developed round-based shooter inspired by classic Zombies survival. It loads using WebGL, so you can try the hosted version in the player above. Its maps, engine and identity are distinct from the original Call of Duty titles.

Black Ops 1 Zombies fan port

The separate BO1 browser port generated viral attention, but fan-project availability can change or end. Our dedicated page documents the creator-hosted source and ten-map experience; a listed link is not a guarantee the game is currently accessible.

REALITY CHECK.

Articles saying “Call of Duty now playable in your browser” may refer to a temporary, unofficial fan port rather than an Activision release. Check the project identity and its current availability before expecting the original game.

01

KNOW WHICH GAME IT IS

Official Call of Duty games, a BO1 Zombies browser fan port and NZ:P are three different things. The embedded NZ:P player above is clearly labeled because confusing them wastes your time.

02

CHECK THE ORIGINAL SOURCE

Fan-made browser ports can go offline after copyright complaints or technical changes. Avoid downloads or mirrors that claim to replace removed games; we do not provide them.

03

TRY WEBGL ON DESKTOP

To play the independent NZ:P build, let it load, select Solo and click the game area to capture mouse input. A current Chrome, Edge or Firefox desktop browser is the best starting point.

04

USE THE RIGHT GUIDE

If you specifically want Kino der Toten, Five or Moon, visit our BO1 Zombies guide rather than assuming these maps are in NZ:P.

COD BROWSER
FAQ.

Where to play, what is official and what to expect from current fan-made browser games.

BACK TO BLACKOPS.TODAY
01Can you play the official Call of Duty for free in a browser?

There is no officially supported, complete Call of Duty PC or console game you can play for free as a normal browser tab. Watch out for websites that imply their unrelated game is an official COD release. Official games generally use supported installations or platforms.

02What happened to Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies in browser?

A fan-built BO1 Zombies browser project attracted attention, but availability has changed following copyright enforcement reports. An old video or article is not proof the project still works today. We do not host or mirror removed retail game content.

03Is the game embedded here really Call of Duty?

No. The player on this page loads Nazi Zombies: Portable (NZ:P), a separately developed Quake-based round-survival fan project. It is not Activision’s Call of Duty, the retail Black Ops game, or the ten-map BO1 browser port.

04Do I have to download anything to play NZ:P?

The hosted WebGL build is designed to load in your browser. Wait for the game assets, then choose Solo. A recent desktop browser, hardware acceleration, keyboard and mouse are recommended. Performance and availability depend on the independent game host.

05Can I play browser COD on my phone?

You can browse this guide on mobile, but complex fan-made browser shooters often need keyboard and mouse, and may lack reliable touch input. Neither the original COD games nor the independent browser projects are guaranteed to work on phones.

06Where can I find information about the ten BO1 Zombies maps?

Use our dedicated BO1 Zombies browser guide for an explanation of the fan port, its original creator-hosted source, the ten map names and browser troubleshooting. External project availability may change.
